Terms of Service

Last updated: June 10, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the BETTERSITES website and services. By using our site or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

BETTERSITES designs, builds, and maintains websites and related digital services for businesses. The specific scope, deliverables, and timeline for any project are defined in the agreement or order you accept with us.

2. Payments and Billing

Fees, billing frequency, and any setup costs are presented at checkout or in your service agreement. Plans are billed month-to-month with no minimum term and renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of your current billing period.

Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable except where a specific guarantee is offered in writing.

3. Your Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information and any content or materials needed for your project, and to ensure you have the rights to all materials you supply. You are responsible for the lawful use of your website and its content.

4. Ownership

Upon full payment, you own the final website and its content as delivered. We may retain ownership of underlying tools, frameworks, and reusable components used to build it. We may display non-confidential work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use our services for any unlawful purpose, to infringe others’ rights, or to distribute malicious or harmful content. We may suspend or terminate services for violations.

6. Disclaimers

Our services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet every expectation.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BETTERSITES will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the services giving rise to the claim.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate services as described in your service agreement. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will remain in effect.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
